Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the consequent travel restrictions imposed by the Government of India, Messe Muenchen India has announced the postponement of its trade show- drink technology India. As part of its anti-pandemic measures, the state has converted Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) in Mumbai into a makeshift vaccination centre for COVID-19, considering these factors drink technology India which was originally scheduled for October 20–22, 2021, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai; is now scheduled to take place on December 2–4, 2021, at Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar.
The decision to postpone the event is also based on industry’s feedback received from exhibitors, buyers, and key partners. The organizers also feel that the postponement will allow all the stakeholders to plan their participation and visit in a better way.
The 2021 edition will provide an extended range of unique participation options which will enhance interactions, engagements, and learnings in the new normal. This approach will offer a seamless integrated experience through hybrid formats (combination of online and onsite) along with onsite exhibitions.
Mr. Bhupinder Singh, CEO, Messe Muenchen India, informs, “Considering the current pandemic situation, December seems to be a viable option to conduct our trade fairs. It further enables us to provide a new platform for exhibitors and visitors to meet each other face-to-face and online and get back to business in a conducive and safe environment.”
The upcoming edition of drink technology India will be held from December 2–4, 2021 at Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
